A major advantage of artificial turf lies in its higher use and reduced maintenance needs. This means that the yarn needs to be stronger to offer improved wear resistance and better long-term value. A conventional artificial grass field plays well for between 6-8 years, before, at end-of-life, it needs to be replaced, and the turf recycled. However, due to current costs, recycling is expensive and the procedure is complicated. This adds additional costs and requires external resources. Choosing Green Dura Series can extend the service life of the yarn, increasing the time to replacement, which, in-turn, improves the cost-effectiveness of the whole sports surface.
